SPaT

Signal phase and timing (SPaT) refers to communications associated with the operation of signalized intersections. Signal phase and timing application is a support application that provides the current intersection signal light phases. A SPaT message describes the current phase at a signalized intersection, together with the residual time of the phase, for every lane of the intersection.
