Vehicle-to-grid (V2G) is a technology that enables energy to be pushed back to the power grid from the battery of an electric car. With this technology, and based on different energy production or consumption signals, the car battery can be charged and discharged. By allowing our energy system to balance more and more renewable energy, V2G can help mitigate climate change.
